Musician and Author Kathy Valentine Joins the APC for a Conversation about Her New Memoir

On Wednesday, June 3 at 5 p.m., musician and author Kathy Valentine will join the Atlanta Press Club for a discussion about her new memoir, All I Ever Wanted. The online event will be hosted by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution entertainment reporter Rodney Ho.

Praised by The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Forbes and others as a "vibrant new autobiography" which “captures both the carefree bliss of being young, beautiful, rich and talented, and the darkness that such freedom can breed,” Valentine's book recounts her teen years and later rise to stardom in The Go-Gos—the most successful all-women rock band of all-time—and the ups and downs of her life that followed.

As part of APC's Check-In Series, Valentine will answer your questions about her music and writing. She'll also discuss what it's like to release a book during the coronavirus pandemic and have all plans postponed for this year's previously scheduled and highly anticipated Go-Gos documentary and tour.
